DPS Bokaro Students Shine at Industry-Academia Conclave 2024, NIT Jamshedpur

Bokaro: Students from Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro have made a remarkable mark at the Industry-Academia Conclave 2024, held at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur, by securing the First Runners-Up position. Competing against sixty teams from across Jharkhand, the DPS Bokaro team impressed the judges with their innovative project focused on using drone technology for cattle protection (Gau Raksha), an idea that garnered widespread recognition.

The team, consisting of Anjali Sharma, Sarvagya Singh, and Krish Verma, presented a cutting-edge model demonstrating how drones can be deployed to monitor and safeguard livestock. Their project was lauded for its originality, technical depth, and relevance to current agricultural and environmental challenges.

“We are extremely proud of our students’ achievement,” said Dr. A.S. Gangwar, Principal of DPS Bokaro. “This victory showcases their ability to blend technological innovation with societal needs. It is a testament to the caliber of our students and their capacity to create impactful solutions.”

For their outstanding performance, the team was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 15,000. The success highlights DPS Bokaro’s commitment to nurturing creativity and fostering a spirit of innovation among its students.
