JNS I Bokaro: Two students of DPS Bokaro made their mark at National Inter School Literary Festival “Manthan 2021” organised online by ‘Birla Divya Jyoti’ Siliguri; the results were announced last evening.
Anamika of Class XI bagged the 2nd Position in Creative Writing whereas Aadya Mishra of Class IX secured the 3rd position in Turncoat. The three days online fest received an overwhelming response from around 30 schools across the country.
This edition of Manthan was dedicated to the 160th birth commemoration of Rabindranath Tagore and 130th birth commemoration of Babasaheb Ambedkar; different activities were organised to unfurl the creative streak of the participants. The winners were awarded with a trophy and a certificate.
A.S. Gangwar, Principal, DPS Bokaro congratulated the winners on their commendable achievement and said, laced with basic skills of the 21st century like reflection, critical thinking, creativity, initiation, self –direction; such competitions, aim to make students confident individuals by empowering them with the competencies to understand, interpret and innovate real life situations.
“I look forward to more enthusiastic participation in the upcoming competitions,” he added.
