DPS Chas Celebrates Excellence at ‘Abhyudaya 2024’ Annual Function

Chas: Delhi Public School, Chas, hosted its Annual Function and Scholar Badge Award Ceremony, “Abhyudaya: The Rising 2024,” celebrating the academic and co-curricular achievements of its students. A total of 82 students were recognized with 43 Scholar Badges, 12 Blue Blazers, and 27 Proficiency Awards.

Chief Guest Mr. Surendra Kumar Jha, IPS, DIG (Kolkata Field Range, Bokaro), lauded the students’ achievements and urged them to embrace their future leadership roles. He also commended the school for fostering a nurturing environment and encouraged parents to support their children’s growth.

The event featured cultural performances, including a Ramayana drama, a musical presentation, and a Rajasthani folk dance. Principal Dr. Manisha Tiwari praised the achievers and the school’s pursuit of excellence, while Pro-Vice Chairman Mr. N. Muralidharan and Secretary Mr. Suresh Agarwal highlighted the importance of holistic development.

Chief Mentor Dr. Hemlata S. Mohan urged students to combine talent with perseverance to achieve excellence. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Head Girl Ruchi Halna, with special recognition for the contributions of students from Classes IX and X.

“Abhyudaya 2024” celebrated the transformative power of education and motivated the school community to continue striving for excellence.
