Chas: DPS Chas Bokaro proudly celebrated its 77th Independence Day, marking 76 years of freedom. This year’s celebration theme is “Nation First, Always First,” “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” with great enthusiasm on 15th August 2023. The school campus was beautifully decorated with flags and balloons to commemorate the day.
All the students, teachers and non-teaching staff gathered on the school premises to celebrate the occasion. The programme commenced by welcoming all the members present for the function. The day began with the solemn flag-hoisting ceremony in the school courtyard.
Officiating Principal, Ms Deepali Bhuskute, unfurled the national flag, followed by the Nation Anthem.
She shared her inspiring words about the significance of the day .following the flag hoisting, students from various grades presented a series of cultural programmes. The performance included patriotic songs depicting historical events.
The chief mentor of DPS Chas Bokaro, Dr Hemlata S Mohan wished all a glorious and happy 77th Independence Day; she said that On this special day, let’s remember our past, celebrate our present, and dream of a brighter future.
