ESL Skill School Hands Over Job Offers, Toolkits to 52 Youths in Bokaro

Bokaro: Reinforcing its commitment to skill development and youth empowerment, ESL Steel Limited organised a Certificate, Offer Letter Distribution and Valediction Ceremony at its ESL Skill School on Friday, recognising the achievements of trainees and facilitating their transition into the workforce.

A total of 52 trainees participated in the programme. Of them, 16 students received course completion certificates, 18 were handed employment offer letters from recruiting organisations, while 47 trainees from the SPVI and FTOHA batches were provided with professional toolkits to help them begin their careers.

The ceremony was attended by Suraina Rajan, DDM, NABARD; Prahalad Rawat, Chief Financial Officer, ESL Steel Limited; Kunal Daripa, Head-CSR, ESL Steel Limited; Birender Kumar, Programme Manager, ESL Skill School; and Arun Kumar.

Addressing the gathering, Ravish Sharma, CEO and Whole-Time Director, ESL Steel Limited, said the company views skill development as a powerful tool for creating sustainable livelihoods and empowering local communities. He said ESL Skill School is equipping young people with industry-rerelevant skills while connecting them with meaningful employment opportunities, helping them become self-reliant and contribute to the region’s inclusive growth.

Speaking on the occasion, Prahalad Rawat, Chief Financial Officer of ESL Steel Limited, described skill development as an investment in the future, saying that industry-oriented training not only enables young people to build successful careers but also supports the economic development of the region.

The programme featured an overview of ESL Skill School’s vocational training initiatives, followed by interactions with trainees, who shared how the training had improved their technical skills, confidence and employment prospects. The distribution of certificates, appointment letters and toolkits marked a significant milestone in their journey towards professional and financial independence.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a group photograph, underscoring ESL Steel’s continued focus on creating a skilled workforce and expanding livelihood opportunities for the youth of Bokaro and surrounding areas.
