Granth Srijan Sansthan holds “Kavya Goshti” at Swadeshi Mela

Bokaro: Granth Srijan Sansthan organized a “Kavya Goshti” on Wednesday evening as part of the Swadeshi Fair held under the aegis of Swadeshi Jagran Manch at Mazdoor Maidan, Sector 4, Bokaro, to mark the auspicious occasion of Vasant Panchami.

Dhanbad MP Pashupatinath Singh graced the event as the chief guest, emphasizing the significant role literature plays in guiding society. He expressed his joy at the presence of numerous enlightened poets at the event and wished for the continued development of literature in the steel city.

The program commenced with an invocation by Brahmanand Goswami, General Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad. Program coordinator Rajat Nath extended greetings to all the poets and congratulated them for their participation.

Poet Arun Pathak captivated the audience with his recitations of ‘Swadeshi ho hum sabka nara…’ and a Holi song in Maithili, ‘Holi Pavani Achi Manbhavan…’. Other poets who recited their compositions included Dr. Parmeshwar Bharti with ‘In the Saffron Gardens’, Geeta Kumari Gustakh with ‘Tulsi Ram Raja Ram Raghupati Ram’, and Gangesh Kumar Pathak with ‘I will return myself, let me fail’. Reena Yadav’s ‘Mother was illiterate but we Taught to read’, Soni’s ‘Sun Lo Mere Pyare Jaana’, Kalpana Das’s ‘Swadeshi Apna Hai’, Javed Sufi’s ‘Let’s become parents’, and Supriya Saras’s ‘Imtahan Ki Ghadi’ also received applause from the audience.

Advocate Dixit, Deenanath Thakur, Venkatesh Sharma, Ranjana Srivastava, Shanti Devi, and others also impressed the audience with their recitations. The event was presided over by Dr. Asha Pushp and coordinated by Ajay Chaudhary Deepak and Geeta Kumari Gustakh. Swadeshi Jagran Manch’s National Fair chief Sachindra Kumar Bariyar honored the MP by draping him with a shawl. The vote of thanks was delivered by Gangesh Kumar Pathak at the end of the program.
