Hemant Soren’s bail plea, hearing deferred to June 10

Ranchi: The bail petition of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, concerning the money laundering case linked to a land scam, is scheduled for hearing in the Jharkhand High Court on Tuesday. The hearing took place in the court of Justice Rangan Mukhopadhyay.

During the proceedings, the court directed the advocate representing the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to file the affidavit before June 10. Consequently, the next hearing of the case has been scheduled for June 10.

It is noteworthy that Hemant Soren had submitted a bail application to the High Court on Monday, requesting an expedited hearing on the petition.
