Nita Ambani honoured with ‘Humanitarian Award’

JNS: Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Ambani was bestowed with the prestigious ‘Humanitarian Award’ at the 71st Miss World Finale held at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai on Saturday. The award recognized her outstanding philanthropic contributions. In her acceptance speech, Ambani expressed her gratitude and acknowledged the women in attendance.

Accepting the Humanitarian Award, Nita Ambani stated, “Thank you for this honour. This recognition is not just about me but also highlights the importance of compassion and service in our lives.”

“Guided by the timeless Indian principles of Satyam, Shivam, and Sundaram, Reliance Foundation is committed to empowering every Indian, especially women and girls, through education, healthcare, sports, livelihood, and the promotion of art and culture,” she added.

Notably, the 71st Miss World pageant marked its return after a 28-year hiatus to Mumbai, India. Among the 112 contestants from around the globe, Krystyna Pyszková, a 24-year-old from the Czech Republic, won the coveted crown.
