Operation ShivShakti: Two Infiltrators Gunned Down in Poonch

News Desk: In a swift and coordinated response, the Indian Army neutralized two terrorists attempting to infiltrate across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Wednesday. The action comes days after another high-stakes operation led to the elimination of the mastermind behind the deadly Pahalgam attack.

The Army engaged the infiltrators in a fierce gunfight after observing suspicious movement near the LoC. Both terrorists were eliminated on the spot, and three weapons were recovered from the site.

The Army’s White Knight Corps confirmed the success via X (formerly Twitter):

“In a successful anti-infiltration operation, alert troops of the #IndianArmy eliminated two terrorists attempting to infiltrate across the Line of Control. Swift action and accurate firepower thwarted the nefarious designs. Three weapons have been recovered.”

The operation was made possible by joint intelligence inputs from the Army’s internal units and the Jammu and Kashmir Police, ensuring real-time coordination and a precise strike.

Earlier on July 28, the Indian Army scored another major victory with the killing of all three terrorists involved in the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 26 tourists.
