JNS: The University of Leeds in the UK has launched a new scholarship program called the International Masters Regional Scholarships. It will give Indian students £6,000 off their tuition fees for Master’s courses starting in 2025.
The scholarship is meant to help talented students by lowering their costs so they can focus on studying. It will be given as a fee discount in the second semester. This is part of the University’s efforts to build stronger connections with India.
To qualify, students must be from India (or another eligible region), pay international fees, and have an offer to start a Master’s program in 2025. The scholarship is for self-funded or partially funded students. It does not apply to the Leeds MBA or online courses. Students can use it with other funding, but the total can’t cover more than their full tuition fees.
The scholarship is worth £6,000. Students don’t need to apply—those who meet the requirements will get it automatically. Eligible students will get an email notifying them, and they should confirm their interest using a link in the email. The fee discount will be applied in the second semester if they are registered at the University by January 30, 2026.
