XLRI Inaugurates PGDM Blended Batch 2025–27 Under XOL, Welcomes 135 Future Leaders

Jamshedpur: XLRI – Xavier School of Management launched its PGDM Blended Program (2025–27) under the XLRI Online Learning (XOL) platform, welcoming 135 working professionals from varied industries into a transformative academic journey.

The inauguration ceremony began with a traditional lamp lighting and invocation led by Dr. (Fr.) Donald D’Silva, SJ, Dean of Administration & Finance.

Addressing the cohort, Dr. (Fr.) Sebastian George, SJ, Director of XLRI, urged participants to overcome setbacks with resilience and integrity, drawing insights from psychological studies on motivation.

Dr. Sanjay Patro, Dean of Academics, emphasized XLRI’s legacy and its evolving pedagogy aligned with industry needs. He underlined the program’s commitment to immersive, peer-driven learning.

Chief Guest Harish Rajagopalan, CHRO at CRED, encouraged participants to embrace the convergence of AI and leadership. He highlighted key traits for success—decisiveness, mission-focus, structured problem-solving, and empathetic competence.

Dr. H.K. Pradhan, Director of PGDM (Finance), reflected on the program’s innovative structure and reassured participants of the brain’s adaptability amid professional demands. He emphasized the value of reinvention and continuous learning.

Dr. Giridhar Ramachandran, Associate Dean, XOL, welcomed the cohort by celebrating the diversity and discipline they bring. He acknowledged the support of families and organizations enabling this academic pursuit.

The ceremony closed on an uplifting note, inviting participants to engage deeply, grow holistically, and embody XLRI’s motto—“For the Greater Good.”
