DPS Bokaro organises ‘Life Skills’ training for teachers

17-fm-140‘Life Skills’— a two days training workshop was organised at DPS, Bokaro with an objective to build, familiarize and identify and integrate different life skills. Teachers at DPS Bokaro were given training on life skills by Quality Education in Asia (QEA).

Resource Persons of the workshop Nishant Bansal and Faiz Khan remarked that the workshop aimed to include perspective building on life skills, identification of different life skills, awareness and familiarisation of attitude and values, familiarization with the health and well being, awareness of different tools and techniques, recording and documentation, integration of life skills and values in classrooms, said a school authority.

Dr. Hemlata S Mohan, Director and Principal of the school said in order to cope with the changes in the trends life skill training is essential. She pointed that it is important to develop better life skills and adapt to the changing trends. The children should develop the qualities of humanity, empathy and become a better citizen of the world for tomorrow.

Beside others, Vice Principal, Pravin Kumar Sharma, Headmistress P. Shailaja, Jayakumar, Dr. Manisha Tiwari, Headmaster, Anjani Bhushan and other teachers were present in the workshop.
