Bokaro: The three-day Chinmaya Youth Winter Camp ‘Fun-tastic’ was inaugurated today at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro, offering students a platform to develop various skills. The camp, which sees hundreds of students participate annually, focuses on life skills, ethics, and character-building activities.
During the inauguration, Principal Suraj Sharma addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of youth in shaping India’s future. He urged the participants to harness their potential and willpower to become disciplined, skilled, and idealistic individuals. School Secretary Mahesh Tripathi highlighted the vast untapped potential of today’s youth, stressing the significance of organizing such camps to channel their energy and develop them into valuable human resources.
The camp offers a range of activities, including sports, adventure, dance, crafts, cooking, technology, and painting, aimed at fostering creativity and personal growth. Indian basketball player Rajeev Kumar also attended the inauguration, inspiring students to actively engage in sports.
Around 400 students are participating in the event, which is being supported by the school’s faculty and staff.
