Bokaro: ESL Steel Limited, under its flagship healthcare initiative Project Aarogya, organized a Mega Health Camp at Madhya Vidyalaya in East Mahal, offering free medical services to rural communities.

The camp was inaugurated by East Mahal Mukhiya Sheetal Singh, ESL’s Security Head Abhishek Kumar, and CSR Head Kunal Daripa, alongside local leaders and community members.

From specialist consultations and health check-ups to free medicines, villagers availed much-needed primary healthcare services. Many were also referred for advanced medical attention, ensuring continuity of care beyond the camp.

Backed by Sanjeev Netralaya and Kishore Dental Clinic, and coordinated by Citizens Foundation, the initiative turned into a one-stop platform for rural healthcare.

“These camps ensure crucial medical services are accessible to all,” said Abhishek Kumar.

“Our goal is to make a real difference through healthcare programs that reach the grassroots,” added CSR Head Kunal Daripa.

Mukhiya Sheetal Singh hailed the effort as “a remarkable service bringing doctors and villagers together.”

Its’ worth noting that, every year, ESL CSR’s Project Aarogya benefits over 35,000 villagers across Bokaro through a Primary Health Centre, Mobile Health Van, and outreach programs, covering maternal health, preventive care, general consultations, and awareness drives — bridging the rural healthcare gap.
