Bokaro: Ajay Kumar Thakur, Assistant Teacher at Upgraded High School, Punnu (Gomia), was felicitated as ‘Outstanding Coordinator’ for his leadership in the RAIL (Regular Assessment for Improvement of Learning) question paper formulation process.
The honour was conferred during a teachers’ felicitation ceremony held at DIET, Pindrajora, recognising educators from Bokaro district for their contribution to developing high-quality question papers for the 2025–26 academic session.
Officials praised the accuracy and standard of papers prepared under Thakur’s coordination. The programme was conducted under the guidance of DIET Faculty-in-Charge Rakesh Kumar Singh, who highlighted the rigorous efforts of participating teachers.
District Education Superintendent Dr. Atul Kumar Chaubey, the Chief Guest, inaugurated the event and emphasized that question papers play a crucial role in evaluating students’ reasoning and learning outcomes. He termed the initiative a progressive step towards improving educational quality.
Several senior DIET officials and educationists were present at the ocassion.
