Bokaro girl bags Runners up award in National Geography Project Competition

JNS: Tamanna Ray, a Class IX student of DPS Bokaro bagged the 2nd Runners Up trophy in All India National Geography Project Competition, 2021. The prestigious competition was organized by Kota (Rajasthan) based Geo Genius- a nationwide platform to cultivate academic excellence in Geography.

To develop interest in Geography and to stimulate the competitive spirit amongst the students during the global pandemic, the Geo Genius Project competition was organized on virtual mode.

Hundreds of students from across the country participated in the competition and Tamanna won the third prize in the senior category under the topic “Understanding the tectonic jigsaw of our home planet Earth”.

Her project was titled “When the Creation is New.” She was awarded with a Trophy and a Merit Certificate.

Principal, DPS Bokaro A. S. Gangwar congratulated Tamanna on her achievement and said, “Curiosity is the secret behind every great idea and when that meets the commitment of dedication, success is achieved. These kinds of competitions indeed enhance the creative and innovative skills of the students which prove to be very effective in the long run.”
