British PM arrives in India on a two-day visit

JNS: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is on a two-day visit to India, rushed to Ahmedabad this morning.

Johnson was also accorded a grand welcome on a four-km route from Ahmedabad airport to a hotel with a colorful road show.

According to the officials, visits to Gandhi Ashram, Gujarat Biotechnology University, and Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar are in the schedule for the British PM. He will also visit a JCB Plant at Halol in Vadodara before departing for Delhi today evening.

On Friday, Johnson and Modi will review the progress made toward the execution of the Roadmap 2030 under bilateral ties. They will also discuss on the regional and global issues of mutual importance.

This is the first visit of the British Prime Minister to India.
