Bokaro: Kundan Kumar, the Chief General Manager (CGM) of City Services at Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL), has been unanimously elected as the new Chairman of Science for Society, Bokaro. This decision was made during a meeting attended by members of Science for Society, Bokaro, and Vigyan Jagran Samiti, Jharkhand.
The position became vacant following the transfer of the former Chairman, Deepak Rai, CGM of BSL (CRM 3), to Rourkela. Expressing his gratitude upon his election, Kumar assured the members that he would make every possible effort to promote scientific awareness among students and continue the organization’s scientific initiatives.
Rajendra Kumar, the General Secretary of Science for Society, Bokaro, stated that Kumar’s leadership will help invigorate the scientific activities in the district, which has been active in the field of science and technology for over 31 years. He assured that the organization’s work will continue to grow under the new leadership.
The meeting was attended by several prominent members, including P. Jyotirmoy (District Academic Coordinator), Nikki Smita, SK Rai (District Coordinator), Chandra Shekhar Kumar (Technical Coordinator), and others.
