CCL Bids Warm Farewell to 81 Retiring Employees

Ranchi: Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) organized a heartfelt farewell ceremony, “Samman-cum-Vidaay Samaroh,” for 81 employees retiring from various departments. The event took place at CCL Headquarters, Darbhanga House, Ranchi.

Among the retirees were seven employees from the headquarters: Mahendra Kumar Punjabi, General Manager (Mining), Geology Department; Anil Kumar Gupta, General Manager (Finance), Finance Department; Sunil Kumar, Chief Manager (E&M), Safety Department; Dr. Arvind Kumar, CMO, Headquarters Dispensary; Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, Chief Storekeeper – A-1, E&M Department; Soumen Roy, Office Superintendent, Medical Department; and Manoj Kumari, Matron-A-1. The total number of retirees included 8 officers and 73 non-officers.

The ceremony saw the presence of several dignitaries, including Director (Finance) Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director (Personnel) Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (Technical/Operations) Harish Duhan, Director (Technical/Planning & Projects) Satish Kumar Jha, and CVO Pankaj Kumar. They honored the retirees by presenting them with shawls, coconuts, bouquets, souvenirs, certificates, and service certificates.

In his address, Director (Finance) Mishra expressed gratitude for the retirees’ dedication and contribution to the company’s growth. He assured them of the company’s continued support whenever needed.

Director (Personnel) Harsh Nath Mishra extended good wishes and emphasized the importance of health and financial discipline in retirement. He acknowledged the significant impact of their hard work and dedication on the company’s success.

Director (Technical/Operations) Harish Duhan highlighted the achievements of the retirees and wished them a happy and healthy second innings.

Director (Technical/Planning & Projects) Satish Kumar Jha encouraged the retirees to spend quality time with their families and contribute to the future of the younger generation.

CVO Pankaj Kumar advised the retirees to focus on their well-being and that of their spouses, emphasizing the importance of personal interests.

A short film featuring the work experiences and memorable moments of the retirees was screened during the event. The program was conducted by Head of Department (Welfare) Rekha Pandey, who also delivered the welcome address and vote of thanks. The Welfare Department and other related departments played a crucial role in the success of the event.
