Ranchi: The HRD Department, under the Vigilance Department’s direction and in line with guidelines from MOC and CIL Vigilance, is hosting its sixth Capacity Building Programme on Mining at the MTC, CCL. The workshop, running from 16 to 18 September, aims to enhance technical expertise and operational efficiency in the mining sector.
The inaugural session was graced by notable figures including Harish Duhan, Director (Technical/Operations), Pankaj Kumar, CVO of CCL, Meraj Ahmad, General Manager (Operations), Manoj Jha, Chief Manager (Mining) CIL, and B.K. Pandey, Chief Manager (Survey). The dignitaries addressed the participants, underscoring the significance of enhancing efficiency and boosting morale within the mining operations.
R.K. Pandey, GM of HRD, extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries and the 38 participants from Headquarters and various regions. The programme includes ten technical sessions focused on critical topics such as coal stock maintenance, management using 3D TLS, production recording and reporting (coal and overburden), and execution of contractual work, including the preparation and follow-up of BOQs and NITs.
This workshop is particularly crucial as production targets continue to rise, necessitating advanced technical knowledge and streamlined processes to meet the demands of modern coal mining operations.
