DPS Bokaro students get top rank in Recitation Competition

JNS I Bokaro: Bringing glory to school DPS Bokaro Steel City students bagged top positions in Hindi and English recitation competition (district-level) organized by Ram Krishna Mission at its Campus at Bokaro.

The competition winners have qualified for the State Level Competition to be held next month. Several schools across the city participated with their presentation on ‘Swadesh Mantra’ – the philosophy of Vivekananda.

Naisha Singh Nagi (VII B) secured the first position in the Hindi recitation competition in the senior category, whereas Manshi Pandey (VIII D) bagged the third position. Ananya Priya (VIII C) bagged the second position in English recitation.

While in the junior category, Angel (VA) secured the second position in the English recitation competition, whereas Mriganka Stuti Kispotta bagged the third position in the same. The winners were felicitated by the Chief Guest A. K. Johri, Group General Manager, ONGC.

“Such competitions allow students a forum to release their creative flare and oratory talents,” said A. S. Gangwar, Principal, DPS Bokaro. He wished them luck for the next State competition.
