Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has leveled serious allegations against the central government, claiming that the COVID-19 vaccine, distributed under the BJP-led administration, is linked to recent deaths of youths participating in constable recruitment drives.

Speaking at a ceremony for the Maiya Samman Yojana, Soren criticized the central government’s vaccine rollout, alleging it was flawed despite global concerns and temporary suspensions. He suggested that the vaccine’s extensive distribution in India is now showing adverse effects.

Soren accused the central government of prioritizing financial gains over public health, alleging that the vaccine was used to generate funds and donations. He highlighted a disturbing trend where candidates are reportedly collapsing and dying during physical activities, such as running or walking, in recruitment drives.

Specifically, he pointed to recent recruitment drives for excise constables, where there have been troubling reports of sudden deaths among young men during physical tests. Soren condemned the vaccine provided by the BJP administration as harmful and asserted that its negative impacts are becoming evident globally.

In one tragic incident, 13 youths died during a race as part of the recruitment process for 583 constable positions in Jharkhand’s Excise Department.
