Bokaro: The literary community of Bokaro is celebrating the publication of three new Maithili books by veteran writer Vijay Shankar Mallik, popularly known as ‘Sudhapati’. The books—Kautilyak Arthashastra (a Maithili verse adaptation), Acharya Chanakya Avadan (Katha Neeti Sutra), and Prahari Purush (also in Maithili verse)—have been published by Aditya Prakashan, Patna.
Members of the noted Maithili literary forum Sahitya Lok, including Buddhinath Jha, Tula Nand Mishra, Uday Kumar Jha, Sanjay Kumar Jha, Arun Pathak, Aman Kumar Jha, Shailja Jha, Neelam Jha, Smita Choudhary, and Amrita Sharma, extended their heartfelt congratulations to Sudhapati for his continued literary contributions.
Following the arrival of the books in Bokaro, a family photo session was held at the author’s residence, where Sudhapati was joined by his wife Sudha Mallick and family member Poonam Mallick.
Known for his dedication to literature across Maithili, Hindi, Bhojpuri, and English, Sudhapati has remained active in the literary world even after retiring from Bokaro Steel Plant. He is a recipient of several literary awards and has numerous publications to his name.
