Rajkot: A man allegedly committed suicide after losing Rs 78 lakh by playing online ‘poker’ in Rajkot district of Gujarat. The police gave this information on Sunday. Krunal Mehta (39) died in a well in Mota Mawa area of the district.
An official of the Rajkot Taluka police station said that his body was found floating in the well the next morning. Police Inspector Vikram Banjara said, “Our investigation has revealed that he committed suicide after losing 78 lakh rupees for playing ‘poker’ on his mobile phone.”
