Over 550 new students begin journey at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro

Bokaro: Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro welcomed over 550 newly enrolled 11th-grade students for the academic year 2024-25, marking the beginning of their journey towards a promising future. The conference event, held with great enthusiasm, provided the students with insights into the school’s ethos, achievements, service initiatives, and organizational structure.

The program’s chief guest, Rajan Prasad, ED (P&A) and Works, SAIL, Bokaro Steel City, graced the occasion, adding prestige to the event. As a token of warm welcome, the chief guest and special honored visitor were greeted with Tilak Mishri and bouquets.

Principal Suraj Sharma presented flowers to the chief guest, while Vice Principal Narendra Kumar extended greetings to the gathering. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp marked the inauguration of the program, followed by a captivating welcome song performed by the school’s music drama department.

Principal Sharma extended a hearty welcome to the esteemed guests, students, and parents, expressing gratitude to Chief Guest Shri Rajan Prasad for his invaluable cooperation.

He emphasized that Chinmaya Vidyalaya is more than just a school; it embodies the vision of its founder, Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda Maharaj, and has garnered remarkable success nationally and internationally.

Highlighting the school’s achievements, Principal Sharma reassured students and parents that Chinmaya Vidyalaya, as the first school in Bokaro, Jharkhand, certified by NABET, CBSE’s New Generation School, and the British Council’s Special Certificate, is fully equipped to nurture the students’ potential. He encouraged students to face challenges bravely, assuring them of the school’s unwavering support.

As part of the ceremony, Chief Guest Rajendra Prasad presented checks worth ₹15,000 to the top performers in the SSC 2024 examination, acknowledging their outstanding achievements.

In his address, the chief guest commended Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro’s legacy of excellence in education and social service over the past 47 years.

A presentation by Shreya Gupta highlighted the school’s facilities and educational accomplishments, while Sudhawala, the school’s IT director, elucidated the integration of technology in education.
