Ten Thousand Special Guests Invited to Attend Republic Day Parade

New Delhi: In a significant move, around 10,000 special guests have been invited to witness this year’s Republic Day Parade. The list of invitees includes a diverse group of individuals who have made noteworthy contributions in various fields.

Among the special guests are Sarpanches, Disaster Relief Workers, Best Performing Water Warriors, and Handloom and Handicraft Artisans. Additionally, participants from the popular radio show Mann Ki Baat, My Bharat Volunteers, and guests from the North Eastern states have been invited. The Defence Ministry also highlighted the presence of self-help group members, who are actively working towards income and employment generation.

Notably, members of the Para-Olympic contingent, Chess Olympiad medalists, Bridge World Games silver medalists, and Snooker World Championship gold medalists will also be part of the special guest list, acknowledging their achievements in the world of sports.

As part of the special experience, these guests will visit significant sites in the capital, including the National War Memorial, the Prime Minister’s Museum (PM Sangrahalay), and other prominent locations. The Ministry of Defence expressed pride in recognizing these individuals and their exemplary contributions to society.
