At least six hundred and seven students of DPS (Bokaro) primary wing were conferred upon Achievers Award at a glittering function held at the school campus on Wednesday. Prof. (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha the Vice-Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand, was the Chief Guest on this occasion, who gave certificates and badges to the students.
Addressing the young students Dr Jha said that DPS, Bokaro’s name is always taken with pride in the country and so its duty of each student to bring further laurels to their alma mater.
Giving tips to become successful in life, Dr Jha suggested the youngsters to always remain good listeners, cultivate the habit of reading good books and impart inspiration from scholars, statesman and global leaders who did their best for society and common masses as well.
He congratulated the students for receiving the prestigious achiever awards and wished them the best for their future.
Dr. Hemlata. S Mohan, Director and Principal of DPS, Bokaro also congratulated the achiever’s and said “You are unstoppable if you keep your eyes on the goal and so put in your best for achieving it.”
“Achievers Award is awarded to those students who are not only brilliant at academics but outstanding in Sports, Cultural and social activities as well”, school authority said.
