JNS I Bokaro: Expressing their anger on the mysterious death of Roopa Tirkey OC of Sahibganj police station, the members of BJP Yuva Morcha (BJYM) demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter.
Former General Secretary of BJYM Bokaro district Kunj Bihari Pathak said, policemen like Roopa Tirkey was a source of inspiration for the youth, especially among the tribal.
“If such an incident happens with the women police personnel of the state, then what will happen to the common people,” he added.
People and youth across the state are in a fray over the incident.
Following the COVID protocols and maintaining social distancing youths stage a protest Near Surya Saraovar, Sector 1 in Bokaro. Besides, others, Ankush Singh, Abhishek, Lokesh, Nandan, Rohan, Roshan, Mithun and Sharukh were present on the occasion.
