New Delhi: The ‘Virasat–Kamaladevi Cultural Festival’ and Digital District Repository (DDR) Felicitation Ceremony concluded at the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), New Delhi, under the Ministry of Culture. The event was dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage and the legacy of its unsung heroes.

A major attraction was the Digital District Repository Exhibition, which showcased research on lesser-known freedom fighters from across the country. Among the featured contributors was Bokaro-based teacher and writer Ajay Kumar Thakur, whose work documenting the life of an unsung freedom fighter received special appreciation.

Thakur was honoured by the CCRT Director and Deputy Director for his contribution to preserving the nation’s historical legacy. Family members of freedom fighters and several researchers associated with the Digital District Repository project were also felicitated.

The ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Culture and CCRT, including Vivek Agrawal, Dr. Vinod Narayan Indurkar, Samar Nanda, Kamlesh Kumar Mishra, Rajiv Kumar, Pappunjay Kumar, and Dr. Rahul Kumar.
