JNS: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren was honoured with ‘Champions of Change 2019’ award for doing excellent social welfare work as a public representative in Dumka and Barhait Assembly constituencies. Former President of India Pranab Mukherjee conferred the award to Soren in a function organsied at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
Notably, the name of Hemant Soren has been selected by the jury that included former Chief Justice of India cum former chairman of NHRC Justice KG Balakrishnan and former judge of Supreme Court Justice Gyan Sudha Mishra.
