‘Legal Literacy Club’ of DPS gets ‘System and Infrastructure’

Speaking on the occasion Sanjay Prasad the Principal District and Sessions Judge and Chairman DALSA Bokaro encouraged the children and urged them to use the system and infrastructure to learn more about the laws, fundamental duties and get awareness about the legal system.

“I personally believe that students can act as a bridge between people in need of legal aid and various bodies providing legal services”, he added.

Mithilesh Kumar Singh, Secretary DLSA Bokaro said, this initiative is initiated by NLSA, Government of India to ensure that every school has a special section based on the legal system of the country and each child should know about the Indian law.

“DPS, Bokaro is one among the five schools across the district to have received this facility from the judicial system”, added Singh.

Dr. Hemlata S. Mohan the Director and Principal of the school expressed her gratitude towards Chairman DALSA Bokaro for giving the school this unique opportunity. She said that the Primary function of the Legal Literacy Club is to Spread Legal Literacy and awareness and make them aware about their duties, fundamental rights, laws, rules with a hope that the Legal Literacy Club of the school and its members will know more.
