JNS: Around 4,461 cases of Omicron variant of Covid-19 have been reported so far in the country. Out of these total cases, 1,552 patients have already been recovered and migrated.
Maximum number of cases, 1,247 has been reported from Maharashtra followed by Rajasthan 645 case and Delhi 546 case, said Union Health Ministry.
Omicron cases have been reported in 27 States and Union Territories.
The country reported over 1 lakh 79 thousand new Covid cases in last 24 hours with 277 related deaths. The active caseload rushed to 8,21,446, the Ministry said.
