PM Modi to Visit the US for Quad Leaders’ Summit and UN General Assembly

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to travel to the United States from 21 to 23 September. His visit includes participation in the fourth Quad Leaders’ Summit, scheduled for September 21 in Wilmington, Delaware. In response to a request from the US, India has agreed to host the next Quad Summit in 2025.

The External Affairs Ministry announced that during the Summit, leaders will assess the progress made by the Quad over the past year and outline priorities for the coming year to support the development goals of Indo-Pacific nations.

On September 23, Modi will address the ‘Summit of the Future’ at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The Summit’s theme, “Multilateral Solutions for a Better Tomorrow,” is expected to attract a large number of global leaders. Additionally, Modi plans to hold bilateral meetings with various world leaders to discuss mutual interests.

On September 22, the Prime Minister will also engage with the Indian community in New York and interact with CEOs of prominent US companies to strengthen collaboration in key sectors such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, semiconductors, and biotechnology. He is anticipated to meet with thought leaders and stakeholders involved in the India-US bilateral relationship as well.
