New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been unanimously elected as the leader of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) as preparations for the formation of the new government gain momentum.
In a gathering of NDA leaders convened in New Delhi, a resolution was passed affirming the comprehensive development witnessed by India over the past decade under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. The resolution highlighted the electorate’s endorsement of a strong leadership, securing an absolute majority for the third consecutive term, a feat not seen in six decades.
Expressing gratitude for what he termed a “historic mandate” for the third consecutive government, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the significance of the people’s trust in the leadership.
The meeting resulted in a unanimous decision to reaffirm the NDA government’s commitment to fostering holistic development across the nation. NDA partners praised Prime Minister Modi’s clear vision for a developed India (Viksit Bharat), acknowledging his role in elevating India’s stature globally and his relentless efforts towards poverty alleviation.
Convened at the Prime Minister’s residence in New Delhi, the NDA meeting saw the participation of key figures including BJP President J P Nadda, and Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah.
Among the prominent attendees were N Chandrababu Naidu, Chief of the Telugu Desam Party, Nitish Kumar, Chief of Janata Dal (United) and Bihar Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, leader of Shiv Sena (Shinde Group) and Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Chirag Paswan, Chief of Lok Janshakti Party, Anupriya Patel from Apna Dal, Jayant Chaudhary from RLD, H D Kumaraswamy from JD(S), Jitan Ram Manjhi from Hindustani Awami Morcha, Pawan Kalyan from Jan Sena Party, along with other leaders representing various constituents of the NDA.
