JNS I Bokaro: Two teachers of Bokaro, Anjani Bhushan and Mamta Tripathi have been conferred the ‘Best Teacher Award’ (Zonal) by the nationally acclaimed Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF), New Delhi.
Anjani Bhushan is the Vice Principal, and Mamta Tripathi is Headmistress at DPS Bokaro. The award has been given to the teachers in recognition of their outstanding contribution in different fields; Anjani Bhushan for International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) and Mamta Tripathi for International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO). They received a certificate and a trophy each.
Every year SOF conducts various Olympiads in 42800 schools over 1400 cities across 25 countries of the world. Acknowledging the meritorious contributions of these teachers, SOF has honoured them.
The Principal of DPS Bokaro, A.S. Gangwar congratulated the teachers and said, “The diligence of the teachers has paid off and I am happy to see the teachers updating themselves as per the need of the hour. When teachers as leaders are well equipped, they foster better learning.”
