The Union Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises’ Udyog Aadhaar portal for registration of MSMEs has witnessed registration of 48,39,549 MSMEs in last three years across the country. Of these 97,998 MSMEs were from Jharkhand. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Giriraj Singh provided the information in Rajya Sabha on Wednesday replying to a question raised by Member of Parliament Parimal Nathwani.
He also stated that 24,248 MSME registrations have been cancelled in the country on UAM portal, of which 927 MSME were from Jharkhand.
