New Delhi: Afghanistan has firmly dismissed Pakistan’s claims that Indian missiles targeted Afghan territory. Inayatullah Khawarizmi, spokesperson for the Afghan Ministry of Defence, stated in an interview with an Afghan news network that there is no truth to Pakistan’s allegations.
India’s Foreign Secretary, Vikram Misri, addressed the matter in a press briefing earlier today, accusing Pakistan of making baseless assertions regarding Indian missile strikes. He added that the people of Afghanistan are fully aware of the countries that have consistently violated their sovereignty.
Pakistani military officials had previously alleged that Indian missile attacks on Pakistan had also struck Afghan land, a claim that Afghanistan has strongly refuted.
