CCL bids farewell to its 43 retiring employees

Ranchi: In a heartfelt gesture, Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) bid farewell to 43 retiring employees, including three from different departments of CCL Headquarters, Darbhanga House, Ranchi. Dr. Chhaya Rani, CMO of Gandhinagar Hospital, Amar Nath Jha, Senior PA of the A-1 CMC Department, and Suraj Mahato, Head Security Guard of the Security Department, were given a warm send-off through an “Honour-cum-Farewell Ceremony” organised by CCL on Tuesday.

The event, held at the CCL Headquarters, was attended by General Manager (CMC) Rajeev Singh, Chief Medical Superintendent (CMS) Dr. Suman Singh, Chief Manager (Personnel) of the Welfare Department Keya Mukherjee, along with Heads of Departments, General Managers from various departments, family members of the retired employees, and other dignitaries.

General Manager (CMC) Rajiv Singh congratulated the retiring employees on the successful completion of their service, acknowledging their contribution to the company’s success. He wished them all the best for the next phase of their lives.

CMS, CCL, Dr. Suman Singh, extended wishes for a healthy life to the retiring employees, advising them to devote more time to family and pursue activities of their choice in their retirement.

A short film featuring the work experiences of the retiring personnel was screened during the event. In the video, the employees shared memorable moments from their entire service period. All three retired employees expressed their gratitude towards the company, emphasising its integral role in their lives during their service.

The retiring employees were honoured with shawls, momentos, and gifts. The Chief Manager (Personnel) of the Welfare Department, Keya Mukherjee, conducted the event and delivered the vote of thanks. The Welfare Department and other related departments played a crucial role in organising the successful programme.
