JNS: An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale stuck Afghanistan-Tajikistan border area at 9.45 AM on Saturday morning; the epicentre of the earthquake was near Afghanistan-Tajikistan border.
According to the National Centre for Seismology, the earthquake struck at a depth of 181 km; Strong tremors were also felt in Jammu and Kashmir and in Delhi NCR region though no untoward incidents were reported anywhere.
