First Image of Baba Barfani Revealed; Amarnath Yatra to Begin on June 29

The first image of Baba Barfani was revealed in the holy cave of Amarnath in the Anantnag district of Kashmir. The ice Shivalinga, standing at a towering height of 8 feet, is a significant attraction for devotees who visit from all corners of the country to worship at Amarnath.

This year, the annual Amarnath Yatra is scheduled to commence on June 29 and will span 52 days, concluding on August 29, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan. Registrations for the yatra began on April 15, and the process of obtaining the required medical certificate is currently underway.

Indian citizens aged between 13 to 70 years are eligible to undertake the Amarnath Yatra. Registration for the pilgrimage can be completed both online and offline. For online registration, individuals can visit the official website of the Shrine Board, while those preferring mobile application can download the Shri Amarnathji Yatra App. Offline registration facilities are available at Punjab National Bank, SBI, Yes Bank, and Jammu and Kashmir Bank.
