The women and girls along with the children of Jaipal Nagar, Bokaro largely attended a medical camp organized by an NGO Samaj Hit Kalyan Samiti (SKS) to commemorate International Women’s Day here on Saturday.
The women and children on the occasion were provided with an opportunity to get all essential medical check-up conducted on the honorary basis, provided free of cost medication prescribed by a panel of doctors in the camp.
Doctors and medical experts from Primary Health Centre (PHC) Chas, Muskan Hospital & Research Centre were actively participated in the camp and examined the patients. Dr. Anita Singh, Dr. Maitri Thakur, Medical Officer, PHC, Chas, Dr. Usha Kumari, general physician, and dentist, Dr. Lalit Kishore along with Dr. Afrila, Dr, Shashi Rani Kujur, Rabita Hansda ANM- Geeta Sinha and Sangeeta Kumari comprised the panel attending the visiting women, girls and children from across Jaipal Nagar Bokaro, informed RP Singh president SKS.
Speaking on the occasion Singh said that SKS is pro-active to serve the needy people and remarked ‘Health is Wealth’- Women being the foremost part of the society, this medical camp was specially meant for them to keep them healthy towards a better society. Besides others, members of SKS including Mritunjay Sharma, Manish Kumar, Sunil Purti, Yogesh Kumar Singh, Manoj Jha were also actively participated in the camp.
