Social workers extend support to Dulu Mahato, BJP candidate for Dhanbad LS seat

JNS: A delegation of social workers, led by D K Sah, recently met with Dulu Mahato at his residence. Mahato, a three-time MLA, currently represents the Baghmara Vidhan Sabha constituency and is the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for the Dhanbad Lok Sabha Constituency in the upcoming 2024 LS polls.

Mahato has been representing the Baghmara Vidhan Sabha constituency since 2009. In that year, he won the election with a margin of 19,960 votes. From 2009 to 2014, he served as an MLA from the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha-Prajatantrik (JVM-P) and won the election with a margin of 29,623 votes. Subsequently, from 2014 to 2019, he represented the constituency as a BJP MLA, winning the poll battle by a narrow margin of only 824 votes.

During the meeting, social workers SK Gupta, Dinesh Kumar Nayak, Renu Sah, Anil Kumar, and others presented a floral bouquet to Mahato and conveyed their best wishes for his victory in the upcoming LS polls.
