Bokaro: With the motto to provide an opportunity to learn new challenges outside the regular classroom course, an adventure camp named ‘Anubhuti’ was organised for the students of DPS Bokaro here in DPS Campus on Saturday.
Over 600 students of DPS participated in the adventure camp that included various adventures like Wall Climbing, Rappelling, Flying Fox, and Valley Crossing tested skills of the participants. Obstacles like Burma Bridge, Commando Net, Rope Ladder, Net Crawling, Tyre Crossing were very interesting. Team Building exercises and Games like Dragon Tail, Treasure Hunt Australian Trolley were all there to make the students learn team building and coordination etc. Jorbing Roller and Zoomaring, Archery, Gun Shooting, were the main attraction of the camp.
The programme was inaugurated by Director and Principal, DPS Bokaro Dr. Hemlata S Mohan and Additional Principal DPS Bokaro, A S Gangwar. Speaking on the occasion Dr. Mohan said that these programmes provide a stimulating combination of science, adventure and team challenges. She wished them all fun and adventure for the day. All the activities were performed under the supervision of the available experts including Sanjay and Summit from Vertex Hospitality and the children learned various skills, especially teamwork, coordination and cooperation with their mates and peers.
