Taj Mahal Faces New Rival as Soami Bagh Samadh Opens in Agra

Agra: The city of Agra, renowned for the iconic Taj Mahal, now boasts another architectural marvel with the opening of Soami Bagh Samadh. This stunning white marble structure, which took 104 years to complete, is drawing spiritually inclined tourists and architecture enthusiasts alike.

Located about 12 km from the Taj Mahal, Soami Bagh Samadh is the mausoleum of Huzur Swamiji Maharaj, the founder of the Radhasoami sect. Nestled in the Dayal Bagh area, the mausoleum’s construction began in the early 1900s and has only recently been completed.

Soami Bagh is celebrated for promoting the unity of mankind, regardless of religious affiliations. The Agra Tourism website highlights this temple’s unique message of spiritual inclusivity. Visitors are captivated by the serene atmosphere and the chance to participate in satsang activities and spiritual discourses.
